The Ta Yen Paper Box Container Co. has jumped on the "green" bandwagon and has started making eco-friendly paper furniture, with paper tables, chairs, and cabinets that have steadily caught the attention of buyers everywhere.
Ta Yen offers a variety of compact and stylish cabinets.
Established in 1975, Ta Yen previously turned out corrugated boxes, corrugated fiberboard, and related products, most of which were used for packaging by big domestic food companies such as Weichuan, Taisun, Vedan, and Weilih.
In 1995 the company converted its operation to the production of innovative Beili green fiberboard pallets with a weight-bearing capacity of 100 kilograms up to 1,000 kgs, for sale to domestic and foreign companies. Among the domestic clients are high-tech companies like Chi Mei Optroelectronics, Acer, Aopen, Quanta, Liteon, USI, D-Link, and ProMos. Among the foreign buyers are such top Japanese firms as Canon, Ricoh, Sharp, Sony, Yamaha, Hitachi, and TDK.
Ta Yen`s philosophy is to produce top-quality products and offer the best service to its customers. There has been a strong emphasis on research and development for years, and in 2006 this effort enabled the firm to begin making "green" tables, chairs, and cabinets from almost 100% recycled paper that is specially processed.
All of these products, before being shipped, have to meet the EU`s SGS test to assure that they are non-toxic and free from formaldehyde. The company emphasizes that its "green" furniture products are natural, environmentally friendly, and heoath-oriented, while being beautiful, easy to assemble (with no nails), and waterproof as well.
These products are becoming increasingly popular throughout the world, and the Ta Yen agent in the United States recently set up a shop in California, named "Way Basics," to sell them. (JL)
